The operatives of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps (So-Safe Corps) has apprehended a 50-year-old father, Olukayode Joshua for allegedly engaging his 14-year-old daughter (name withheld) in sex.
Penpushing reports that, the Director of Information and Public Relations of the Corps, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, made this known in a statement, adding that the arrest of the suspect was as a result of distress call received.
The statement added that, following the information Commander of the So-Safe, Commander (Dr) Soji Ganzallo ordered his men to track down the suspect, a resident of Akinbo Phase 2, in Olambe community of Ifo Local Government area of the state.
Penpushing further reports that, the sex-maniac man was subsequently arrested, adding that during preliminary investigation, confessed and pleaded for mercy, when it was dawned on him, that he would face justice over the barbaric act
‘It is so unfortunate that, in the course of our investigation, the victim revealed to our officers that her father has been using drugs for a very long time to seduce her and that she only noticed white discharge from her private part’, Ganzalo said.
Penpushing also reports that, the statement explained that, as at the time of filing this reports, the suspect and the victims have being transferred to the Police Divisional Headquarter in Ajuwon for further investigation and immediate prosecution.
