A 30 year old mother and graduate of Banking and Finance from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Opeyemi Oluwatosin, who lost her spinal cord following auto crash has passionately appealed to government, well-meaning individuals and corporate organisations to come to her aid in securing job for her.

Penpushing reports that, the mother of one, who can be reached on +234 906 905 6617 and has been on a wheel chair as a result of the physical challenge, while narrating her plight during an exclusive interview, said she is a make-up artist and was returning home when the sad incident occurred

“I had an accident at 110 junction, along Dugbe/Apata road, Ibadan when I was on my way coming back from where i went to make up for someone.  I have been looking for job since I graduated in 2014, I served in Benue in 2015 and I finished in 2016.

Penpushing further reports that, she said she doesn’t  want to be a burden in the society, hence, her desire to have a good job  to take care of her little son, emphasisng that  life has become unbearable for her after without having source of livelihood.

The indigene of Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital stressed that the need for searching for job become necessary so as to give her son utmost treatment a mother can gives her child, stressing that she would be happy to be financially independent

“I need work so that I can feed myself and my son, I don’t want to depend on anybody to feed myself, I want to be financially independent, even someone that has two legs is not financially okay in this Nigeria, that is why I’m reaching out to Nigerians to help me”, she emphasised

“With my condition, what I need is government work that will give me little or no stress because of my health status, I put in for the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) job recruitment, but it’s unfortunate that with all the pains I passed through, I wasn’t giving the job.”

‘I sustained a spinal cord injury, I have been on physiotherapy since then, I have  been living like normal human been since the accident happened, but my health is yet to be perfect. The Doctor told me that my healing is unpredictable, they said no one can predict when I will be completely healed and that is why I was advised to continue with the physiotherapy so that I can still perform some function”, she said

“I have spent millions of naira on my health when the incident occurred, In fact, there was a time I was taken abroad, (Indian) for treatment, I didn’t get any assistance from government during my travails, except the ones I got individually which I really appreciate”, she added
