A man who name his daughter after the daughter of President Muhammed Buhari has rescinded his decision to change the name, explaining that he took the decision following failure of Buhari to provide good governance in the country

Penpushing reports that, the man, Yahuza Ibrahim from Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina, recalled that in 2015, ,just 26 days before Buhari was sworn in, his wife gave birth to a baby girl, which he name Buhariyya in honour of Buhari, who one of his daughters bear the name

“In 2015, just 26 days before Buhari was sworn in, my wife gave birth to a baby girl. I had promised that if the baby turned out to be a boy, I would name him Buhari and if it is a girl, Buhariyya.”

The man, however, said contrary to his expectations and many other Nigerians, he has just discovered that, Buhari has nothing to offer the country, coupled with recent hardship and insecurity among others which now pervaded the country.

Penpushing further reports that, the man said it was in view of this, he resolved to rescind his decision on naming his daughter after the President’s daughter, adding that he has since changed his daughter’s name to Kauthar

The man declared that Buhari has failed to fulfil his campaign promises, emphasisng that that his admiration of the President has gone, as he (Buhari) has lost the goodwill he once enjoyed.

“Anyone who knows me knows I love Buhari for the sake of God, because everyone knows he was a good person. Before, when his name was mentioned, everyone felt he was the right person that could help in tackling our problems. But it has turned out to be the other way round”, he stated
