Four persons were on Sunday killed in auto crash in Ogbere along Ijebu-Ode-Ore expressway, a crash which involved a total number of fourteen travellers.

Penpushing reports that, the Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC), Ogun State Command made this known in a statement, explaining that, the accident occurred around Gate of Praise Filling Station, Ogbere

The Command Public Relations Officer, Florence Okpe said a total of 14 persons which comprised of  8 male adult, 4 female adult, 1 male child and 1 female child were involved, adding that aside the four deaths recorded, others did not sustain injury.

Penpushing further reports that, Okpe said the lone accident was a company bus with registration number AYB-722YD adding that the suspected cause of the  crash was excessive speed, stating that the   vehicle was flag down by  FRSC officials warning the driver of the dangers ahead, following  spilled oil on the road which the driver ignored and  ran into the diversion barricade  losing  control, adding that the deceased bodies were deposited at General Hospital mortuary Ijebu-Ode

Meanwhile, the Federal Road Safety Corps( FRSC) Ogun State Sector Commander Ahmed Umar  commiserated with the family of the deceased noting that the crash would have been prevented if  the driver had  obey the instruction from the officials, just as he also advised the motoring public to obey traffic rules and regulations to avert road traffic crashes and always cooperate with corps officials.
