The trio of Prof Yemi Osinbajo, Pastor Tunde Bakare and Senator Ken Nnamani have joined list of aspirants to purchase and picked the nomination and expression of interest forms under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress(APC) ahead of the party primaries.
Penpushing reports that Osinbajo is the serving Vice President, while Bakare is a Pastor and founder of Citadel Global Community Church (formerly Latter Rain Assembly) and Nnamani was former Senate President, and they have paid the N100million fee
.
The forms of Osinbajo form was procured on his behalf by a former Governor of Kano State and serving senator, Kabiru Gaya, when Osinbajo was away in Cross River State to meet with All Progressives CongressAPC faithful when the form was picked on his behalf.
Penpushing further reports that, Namani who presided over the upper legislative chamber between 2005 and 2007,on his part procured his nomination and expression of interest forms on Thursday
The General Overseer of Citadel Global Community Church, in similar vein, purchased and picked his own forms few weeks, while it is recalled that in 2020 in a video that went viral, boasted that he will succeed President Muhammad Buhari
Penpushing also reports that, Bakare, a known blunt cleric had on several occasions criticised the current administration despite his relationship with Buhari, who he(Bakare) was his running mate during the 2011 presidential election under the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC)..
