The Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) has requested for strategic partnership with the Bank of Industry (BoI) on youth and women empowerment in the areas of Agriculture, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Education and Health.
Penpushing reports that President of the group, Alhaji Rasaki Oladejo made the call when he led a delegation to the Lagos Office of Bank of Industry commending the dedication of the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Dr Olasupo Olusi, who received the delegation.
The President appealed for counterpart funding arrangements and collaborative financing models to bridge funding gaps confronting entrepreneurs and small businesses within the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN) network.
Penpushing further reports that responding, Olusi expressed appreciation for the initiatives and vision of the Islamic body and declared the Bank’s readiness to partner with the organisation in areas of mutual interest.
The other officials of the group who accompanied the President include Alhaji Rafiu Adisa Ebiti, Deputy President I; Alhaji Wale Sonaike, Deputy President II; Prof. Wole Abbas, Executive Secretary; Alhaji. Lere Alimi, Chairman of the group Economic Empowerment Committee and Alhaji Abdul-Wakeel Olaniyi, Director (Finance and Admin).
