A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Melbourne, Australia, Hon. Abiola Falayajo has called on indigenes of Osun State living in the diaspora to actively rise in support Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji the governorship candidate of the party ahead of forthcoming poll.

Penpushing reports that Falayajo made the call while on a trip to London, stressing the strategic importance of the diaspora community in influencing political outcomes back home, and urged diasporans to go beyond passive interest.

The party faithful emphasized need for them to take deliberate steps to mobilise support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate by engaging their families, friends, and associates across all local government areas of the state.

“Elections are no longer won on the strength of candidates alone, but on the collective effort of committed supporters. Our people in the diaspora occupy a unique position of influence and must leverage their networks to ensure that the right leadership emerges in Osun State’, he stated

Penpushing further reports that Falayajo encouraged diaspora stakeholders to sustain consistent communication with their loved ones at home, enlightening them on the need to participate actively in the electoral process.

The Ijesa born politician urged them to vote overwhelmingly for the All Progressives Congress (APC) on election day, pointing out that unity of purpose and coordinated grassroots mobilisation will be critical to securing victory at the polls.

Penpushing also reports that Falayajo highlighted the qualities of Oyebamiji, describing him as a competent, experienced, and forward-thinking leader with the vision and capacity to deliver good governance and sustainable development for Osun State.

The Diasporan expressed confidence that Oyebamiji’s leadership would usher in a new era of economic growth, infrastructural development, and improved welfare for the people.

Penpushing reports that in addition, he congratulated the people of Osun State and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the strategic appointment of Hon. Oluwole Oke as the Director-General of the gubernatorial campaign.

The party chieftain described the appointment as timely and well-deserved, noting that Oke’s wealth of experience, political acumen, and grassroots connection would significantly strengthen the campaign structure and enhance its chances of success.

Penpushing further reports that he reiterated his unwavering commitment to the progress of Osun State and called on all well-meaning indigenes, both at home and abroad, to unite behind the All Progressives Congress(APC) candidate in the interest of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
