The Governorship Aspirant of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State Chapter ahead of the 2027 general election, Senator Iyabo Obasanjo has met with leadership of the party in Ewekoro local government area of the state.
Penpushing reports that she was received with excitement by leaders and members of the party who came in large number to give her a rousing welcome, and expressed optimism on her ambition, equally applauded her determination and courage since she joined the race and embarked on consultations across the state.
The female governorship hopeful while addressing party faithful said she was deeply honoured to meet them, and expressed appreciation on what she described as warm reception and thoughtful reflections of her past service
‘I am deeply honoured to meet with the apex leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ewekoro Local Government as part of my ongoing consultations across Ogun State. I sincerely appreciate the warm reception, thoughtful reflections on my past service and the overwhelming show of confidence in our shared vision for a greater Ogun State”, she said.
Penpushing further reports that Obasanjo emphasised that the engagement reinforced her believe that leadership must be rooted in service, humility and respect for people and party structures, stressing that she remain committed to due process
