The Feliza Hotel and Suites worth N3billion, was on Saturday commissioned in Obada town, located in Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, aimed to boost tourism and hospitality within the state and environs.

The Chief Executive Officer of the world class hotels and events centre Oluwafemi Ayeyemi, speaking at the well-attended ceremony disclosed that he invested over ₦3 billion on the project and expressed optimism on its operations.
Penpushing further reports that Ayeyemi, however, called the attention of Ogun state government on the deplorable condition of road infrastructure in Obada axis, pointing out that such could be a challenge for other investors from the diaspora, and therefore, appealed to the state government to prioritise road construction for economic growth. The Convener of the Alternative Movement Otunba Segun Showunmi, speaking at the commissioning commended the project, noting that it has put Obada community on the global map and attracts visitors.
Penpushing also reports that Showunmi, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) appreciated the initiator of the project for his commitment to improving the local economy in Nigeria and for contributing to the growth of Egbaland.
The renowned politician, however, appealed to Governor Dapo Abiodun to improve road infrastructure in the area and support indigenous investments like Feliza Hotel, calling on him to consider repair and construction of the road
Penpushing reports that Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Health Dr. Kehinde Ololade in his remarks described the project as massive and laudable, showcasing Ogun State as business-friendly and secure.
The Special Assistant emphasized that the project will encourage investment by Nigerians in the diaspora, and equally discourage Nigerians, particularly the youths from the Japa syndrome, adding that he is happy with establishment of the hotel.
