The notorious and controversial lewd musician, Habeeb Okikiola popularly called Portable has assured the trial judge in his case of five charges which include felony, assault, fully armed and breach of peace that he would always arrive 6am at the court for the trial.

Penpushing reports that he made this known when he was arraigned before Justice O.L, Oke, who had earlier warned him to avoid coming late for the trial which will be scheduled to commence by 9am.

The judge before granting him bail in the sum of N2million with one surety who must be licensed bonds men registered with the Ogun state government, declared that if he come late at the scheduled time of every trial date, the court will withdraw his bail.

Penpushing further reports that the judge asked him if he is aware of the court, the court sit and portable in response he does not know, hence, the trail judge told him that the court always sit by 9am.

The musician who looked jittery during the arraignment quickly told the judge he would be time conscious, emphasizing that he would even come to court as early as 6am, ahead of opening of the court.

‘I will ensure I do not come late to the court; I will even arrive as early as 6am, and ensure I comply with other conditions given to me by the court. I will be law abiding with the directive’, he emphasised

Penpushing also reports that Portable who is a graduate of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, earlier when the charges were read to him pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The judge while granting him bail as requested by his counsel, Mrs Oluwatoyin Omomehin, and supported by the prosecutor Timileyin Oredein, equally warned the accused not to make comment on social media or cause trouble regarding the case.

Penpushing reports that his counsel assured the court that he (Portable) would not jump bail and she would ensure she brought him to court at every trial, stressing that there are credible sureties to stand for him

‘We have credible sureties. The defendant will not jump bail. He will come to court to attend trial. The prosecutor has concluded investigation, and he will not tamper with investigation. I want to plea with the court not to be persuaded with the charges’, the counsel added

Penpushing further reports that the trial judge, after granting the bail, thereafter adjourned the case till March 5, 2025 for hearing, while it took the accused about four hours to perfect him, before leaving the court
