The renowned gospel music icon, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, has released a new album titled Tungba Praise Promax, aptly reflecting the mood of the festive season, which is regarded as the end-of-year music delicacy.
Penpushing reports that Group Head of Corporate Affairs, Fresh Nigeria and Yinka Ayefele Limited, Samson Akindele disclosed this in a statement adding that the music was digitally served, on December 16, 2024 with the vigour and vitality of three distinct music genres, namely: Juju, Fuji and Amapiano, all in four tracks.
The statement added that demonstrating Ayefele’s musical relevance, dexterity, creative splendour, Amapiano, a subgenre of house music with a mix of jazz, soul and lounge beats, is also on display in the 2024 album.
‘In Tungba Praise Promax, teeming fans of Ayefele music will enjoy, his emblematic intense percussions, sustained rhythms of sting instruments and melodious harmony of voices, all performed by the irresistible and timeless Merry Makers Band’, Akindele wrote.
Penpushing further reports the Group Head of Corporate Affairs boasted that a masterful blend of flavours of Juju and Fuji beats makes Tungba Praise Promax a potential hit with original compositions that produced songs of praise, exhortatory messages, prayers and the Tungba hymnals, usually enjoyed in Ayefele’s works.
‘While the term, Promax is globally regarded as a chemical, technological and medical solutions to certain challenges, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, says the use of Promax in the title of the album is a musical metaphor which will serve as his own timely solution to emotional, spiritual, economic and social discomfort plaguing the people around the world’, Akindele emphasised.
Penpushing also reports that the statement stated that the musician believes that through his latest musical efforts, Tungba Praise Promax, people can deeply reflect, praise God and dance to receive bountiful reliefs from their earthly troubles.

Penpushing reports that Akindele explained that the Compact Disc (CD) version of Tungba Praise Promax comes out next week from Poland where the production is taking place, stressing that this is being done in order to make the Compact Disc (CDs) complaint in all playing devices.
