A three time commissioner in Ogun State, Deaconess Doyinsola Ogunbiyi has been reported dead after a prolonged ailment which has forced her to remain incommunicado to number of friends, associates and well-wishers among others for over five years.
Penpushing reports that the death of Ogunbiyi who was also former Chairperson of Ogun State Chapter of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations(NIPR) and veteran broadcaster was said to have been made known by the family adding that the final burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
“We regret to announce the demise of our beloved matriarch, Deaconess Doyinsola Ogunbiyi, who passed away on November 11th, 2024. Mrs. Ogunbiyi, a devoted mother, aunt, sister, and grandmother, lived an exemplary life of selfless service” family quotedsaying.

Penpushing further reports that the family in the said statement affirmed that she passed on November 11, 2024, and urged friends, family, and well-wishers to join them in sharing the fond memories and condolences with them as they celebrate the life of the extraordinary woman and formet commissioner of Information in Ogun State.
