A sex worker identified as Joy Kelvin has allegedly stabbed and killed her 48-year-old sex partner, simply identified as Okafor, who took her to his residence at Jakande Housing Estate, Lekki area of Lagos state.
Penpushing reports that the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin who confirmed the incident in a statement explained that the incident was reported at Ilasan police division by the deceased’s friend.
The police spokesperson said the complainant reported at the police division after he received a call from their mutual friend that the deceased was stabbed by the sex worker, he brought to his residence at Jakande Housing Estate, Lekki area of Lagos.
Penpushing further reports that Hundeyin said on receipt of the report, police immediately raced to the scene, and took photographs of the victims, before he was taken to the General hospital Lagos, where he was confirmed dead by the Doctor on duty
“On receipt of the report, the scene was promptly visited by detectives of the division. Photographs were taken. The corpse has been evacuated and deposited at the General Hospital morgue, Yaba, for preservation and autopsy.
Penpushing also reports that the Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer in the statement disclosed that the suspect has been arrested, adding that investigation was ongoing, as well as efforts to locate the family members of the deceased.
