The renowned Presiding Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Genesis Global, Israel Ogundipe has disclosed that he received a divine directive to organized the first inter-denomination crusade in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
Penpushing reports that he made the disclosure during an interview with journalists, explaining that the crusade will provide platform for both Christians and Muslims to be together, adding that it will be a 3-day restoration crusade.
‘It’s a three-day event, I was led by the spirit of God to do inter-state revival for freedom and restoration. I am from Ogun State, Abeokuta precisely. We are going to have maximum security, it is an inter-state denominational invasion, and also an inter-denominational crusade’, he stated
Penpushing further reports that Ogundipe said the crusade tagged, ’Abeokuta Prophetic Invasion’ is scheduled to hold between October 1-3, 2024 at Oba Odeleye Park, known as Ori-Omi in Okesokori area of the ancient town.
The clergyman explained that the inter-denomination crusade which would be the first to be organized by Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) Genesis Global in Abeokuta has been designed with adequate and maximum security
‘Not too long we had prophetic invasion, we also have one coming up in Canada. But this is the first interstate prophetic invasion, the expected participants are, Genesis Global in Abeokuta, Ministries both Muslims and Christians, Students among others’, he said.
Penpushing also reports that Ogundipe enjoined residents and others outside the town to attend the crusade, which he described as prayerful event, assuring that it is going to be a continuous exercise and believing God that the programme will be led by the spirit of God.
‘It is going to be a continuous exercise and believing God that we will have to be led by the spirit of God because I would never do anything without being led by God. It is for transformation and realigning people to Christ’, he said.
Penpushing reports that Ogundipe who is the General Overseer with headquarters of the church located in Alakuko, a town within Lagos and Ogun states axis, and chapters across the globe, emphasised that the crusade is transformation and realigning people to Christ.
‘It is because I would never do anything without being led by God. It is for transformation and realigning people to Christ. It is majorly for Abeokuta, my own city. There is adequate security provision’, the cleric emphasised
‘When I was led by the spirit of God to have it in Abeokuta, was when I came to Ijaye and I’m not going to be surprised that God led me to start from Abeokuta being my father’s land. The church is almost two decades now. We have our chapters all over the world. And the mother church that gives birth to other parishes and chapters is Genesis Global and City Alakuko, Lagos/Ogun State’, he stated.
