The All Progressives Congress (APC) ,Yewa South Local Government , Ogun State on Tuesday produced Barrister Tunde Ogunsola as its candidate for the local government election scheduled to hold on November 16 , 2024.
Penpushing reports that the party’s local government Chairman, Alhaji N.A Adenle who conducted the primary disclosed that trio of Hon. Julianah Akintayo, Mr. Muideen Akintade and Barrister Tunde Ogunsola participated.
The Chairman who said the primary held at the Governor’s lodge, in Ilaro said it was conducted under free and fair atmosphere, adding that at the end of the poll Ogunsola won with 43 votes, while Julianah Akintayo polled 3 votes Muideen Akintade recorded no vote.
Penpushing further reports that present at the election ground include Chief M. A. Ajibola, Chief (Mrs) Iyabo Apampa , Hon. Isiaq Akinlade , Hon. Lateefat Ajayi , Hon. Babatunde Olaotan , Hon. Tolu Bankole , Engr Yinka Akintomide among others.
The primary was equally said to had been monitored by some officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the state level, and in response the elected chairmanship candidate expressed appreciation to all members of the party, calling on them to work towards the success of the party at the poll
