A truck with registration number IMMIGRATION 48-04IS believe to belong to the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) has been spotted and loaded with rams transported to the National Assembly Complex in Abuja.
Penpushing reports that other two buses were also spotted for same purposes which arrived at about 1.55pm and parked at the car park in front of the “White House’, but as at the time of filing this report organisations responsible for the two buses was unknown.
The motorboys who spoke on the presence of the buses explained that they brought the rams to the national assembly on the directive of their bosses, whose names they refused to disclose, and equally kept mute on recipients of the rams.
Penpushing further reports that the Sultan Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, had declared Sunday June 16, 2024, as the day of Eid-il-Adha, while Muslim faithful are known to slaughter ram as sacrifices for the celebration of Eid-al-Adha every year.
The record has it that in the Islamic calendar, the festival falls on the 10th day of the twelfth and final month of Dhul Hijjah, just as a source said the rams cited at the National Assembly will be distributed to celebrate the festival.
