A suspected fraudster has hijacked the WhatsApp of former Executive Secretary of Nigeria Press Council, Francis Nwosu to defraud number of unsuspected victims, demanding financial support under the guise of a loan
Penpushing reports that the fraudster sent messages to contacts of Nwosu, requesting for instant transfer of money under the cover to borrow the money to sort out some demanding issues which he claimed will be refunded a day after.
‘Good evening! how is everything going? I need a favour from you urgently. I need to make an instant transfer to someone now I have exceeded my daily limit and it’s very urgent can you help me make an instant transfer to someone I will send it back tomorrow as soon as possible’, the suspected wrote to one of his target
Penpushing further reports that the suspect not knowing that his target was playing along with him, on demand to provide the account the money should be transfer to, without wasting time provided a bank account number, and equally gave fake promise of refund the following day
The suspect forwarded account number:5636380088 of Moniepoint with account owner as Yasir Bello, profusely begging his unsuspecting victim to help him out, but having waited for hours and no response, the fraudster reminded his target that he was still awaiting his response
