The Women Chambers of Commerce and Industry (WCCI), Ogun State Chapter has initiated a partnership with the government with the sole aim of encouraging, strengthening, promoting empowering and protecting women entrepreneurs in the private sector.
Penpushing reports that opening of the partnership was made known at the inauguration of Hon Sola Arobieke, Senior Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor, as patron of the body, an event held at her office at Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta
The coordinator of the Women Chambers of Commerce and Industry (WCCI),Mrs Cynthia Saka in her speech explained that the chambers is a business support organization with the sole aim of encouraging, strengthening, promoting empowering and protecting women entrepreneurs in the private sector
‘I am delighted to be here today, for the opening of the partnership between the ogun state women of chambers be industry (WCCI) and Ogun State investment . Ogun State Women of Chambers and Industry is a business support organization with the sole aim of encouraging, strengthening, promoting empowering and protecting women entrepreneurs in the private sector’, she stated.
‘The women chamber is poised toward an enabling business environment through advocacy, training , encouragement and access to finance. Ogun women chamber of commerce and industry believes that having a robust working relationship with the Ogun investment would facilitate the objective in the state’, Saka added
‘NAWORG is here today for three reasons firstly we are here to show appreciation to you all for all that your administration is doing to improve the business environment and economic status of Ogun State’, she said
‘Also, we are here to request for your support to mobilize women in the twenty local government of Ogun state to join Ogun Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry and be beneficial of our upcoming business management training. And lastly to assist us with other ministries that can enhance the promotion and growth of women business in the state’, Saka emphasized
