Four teenagers who were sixth form students on a camping trip to Snowdonia National Park have being killed in a horrific car crash in Wales, when their Ford Fiesta submerged in a ditch off a remote road in United Kingdom.

Penpushing reports that the victims Jevon Hirst (16), Harvey Owen (17), Wilf Henderson (17) and Hugo Morris (18), had earlier being  reported missing on Monday morning, a development which led to a serch party

The students said not experience campers, had travelled from their homes in Shrewsbury, Shropshire to North Wales sometime on Saturday, while their car was, however, spotted on its roof on Tuesday, partially submerged in a ditch off a remote road almost two days after their last contact.

Penpushing further reports that sources as at the time of filing this report said police were investigating when the crash occurred, but suspected that it was shortly after the victims left Harlech on Sunday morning.

The four boys were believed to have crashed around eight miles north, near the village of Garreg, while as at the time of this report the entrance police authorities have closed off  the road  after the discovery was made.

Penpushing also reports that a crane was brought in to retrieve the vehicle from the crash site, where it was found upside down and partially submerged, while findings showed that the boys arrived in Harlech, around 75 miles west of Shrewsbury, on Saturday and stayed at the home of one of their grandfathers.

The source added that mother of one of the students said her last contact with her son had been at around midday on Sunday in Porthmadog, less than 10 miles from Harlech, adding that he said on Saturday when he left home that he was staying at a friend’s grandfather’s house but he went on a camping trip.

Penpushing reports that the boys were reported missing at 3.10pm after they fail to arrive home to Shropshire, while the worried parents said they have lost contact with them since the previous day for the trip.

The sources said the plan seems to have been for the boys to camp in Snowdonia on Sunday evening, adding that it looks like they never made it to a campsite, adding that the driver of the car lost control and ended up in a ditch

‘The plan seems to have been for them to camp in Snowdonia on Sunday evening, but it looks like they never made it to a campsite,’ said a source close to the investigation. The car has left the road on a bend, it seems the driver lost control and ended up in water in a ditch. The accident may have happened as early as midday on Sunday but police were not informed until more than 24 hours later that they were missing’, the sources said.
