A renowned International Preacher Reverend Funke Felix-Adejumo has called on need to make conscious efforts to be relevant in life, which she noted as only way for individuals not to be static and become expired.

Penpushing reports that Felix-Adejumo made this known on Saturday while speaking at the All Women Summit 2023, organised by The Royal Ladies International, held at the Victory Life Bible Church(VLBC) Headquarters, Ajebo Road, Abeokuta.

The Reverend noted that every human being is designed to be mobile and not static as life is all about development and advancement, stressing that people evolve in various stages to progress and mature, hence, there is no gainsaying that an individual who is progress-driven must continue to evolve if he or she wants to remain relevant, adding that methods are dynamic in nature.

Penpushing further reports that quoting from the book of Matthew 7:7 and Matthew 6:14, she submitted that conditions are attached to some realms an individual want to enter, noting that life is lived in seasons just as God wants everyone to be mobile as no one was created to be static.

.”You must continue to evolve if you want to remain relevant, because methods change while principles don’t. You must make conscious efforts to be relevant, else you will expire, people evolve in various stages to progress and mature”, she emphasised

The Preacher pointed out that every time God gives an individual a blessing, He takes a step backwards to see the person’s reaction, and therefore warned people to beware of expired mentors, jealous colleagues and parasitic protégé, adding that the caliber of friends one keeps is a reflection of who he or she is.

‘There are expired relationships, people should beware of expired mentors, jealous colleagues while a person becomes what he or she beholds as well as smell like the friends he or she keeps”, Felix-Adejumo stated

Penpushing also reports that while urging parents to always show love to their children, she noted that the youth should be well guided by both parents as it is disheartening to leave the upbringing of the young ones to only their mothers.

‘Stop putting pressures on your children, spend quality time with them, many parents are losing their children because they lack the correct answers to the questions being asked by this generation. Find out your assignments and know that it is your right to blossom wherever you find yourself”.

Penpushing reports that on her part, a Financial Expert, Mrs Sola Adesakin while sharing some financial strategies and insights on how people, especially women can improve themselves and their finances explained that there is a limit to what the financially incapable can achieve on earth.

The Founder of the Royal Ladies International, Reverend(Mrs) Fola Achudume in her charge to women, implored them to rise up and work towards becoming that which they want to become In life, noting that with absolute faith in God, dedication and the will power, they can indeed move mountains.

Penpushing further reports that Achudume who is the wife of General Overseer of the Victory Life Bible Church(VLBC), while describing this year’s edition as a huge success specially thanked her husband for being a pillar of support and a firm believer in women advancement.

The General Oversee of the church Apostle Lawrence Achudume in his remarks described women as important catalysts for societal change and appreciated his wife and other members of The Royal Ladies International for coming up with such a laudable programme which would give a ray of hope and vigour to the female folk.

Penpushing also reports that highlights of the conference include free shopping for all participants who took turns to pick different household items which equally include clothings and shoes among other varieties.

Meanwhile, dignitaries at the event include the wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief (Mrs) Bola Obasanjo, female leaders in Ogun State, representatives of female youth organisations and women emancipation groups among others.
