The Chairman Editorial Board of Penpushing Media, Mrs Olufunke Fadugba is to deliver a speech at the June 12 Democracy Day scheduled to hold on Monday at Moshood Abiola International Stadium Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.
Penpushing reports that Permanent Secretary, Bureau of Political Affairs and Administration, Mr Kehinde Onasanya made this known in a statement adding that Fadugba will join Governor Dapo Abiodun alongside other pro-democracy activists at the occasion.
The statement added that the ceremony is designed in memory of late Moshood Abiola, winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, and other activities for the day also include March past by various interest groups, students, voluntary organisations, trade unions among others while tributes and solidarity messages would be delivered by human rights organisations
Penpushing further reports that the statement explained that the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun will deliver the ‘ Democracy Day ‘ address to the people of the State and also mount the dias to supervise the parade .
