A group of underage led by 11-year old pupil,Olayemi Olutola of a private college, on Wednesday canvassed votes for Governor Dapo Abiodun for his second term ambition ahead of the forthcoming general elections,adding that Abiodun in the last 3 and half years has performed creditably well.
Penpushing reports that, the Junior Secondary SchoolJSS) student of De Dames College located in Kemta Community of Odeda local area of the state made the call in unison with her other mates when making presentations at the campaign rally and commissioning of 5.6 kilometer Somorin- Obantoko-Kemta axis of the road.
The girl who spoke eloquently about the performance of the Governor, said students, parents, guardians and residents of axis of the road were impressed on the positive turn around of the road, which before now had been hell on earth,and equally expressed appreciation to the Governor.
“We say very thank your sir, for magnificent road in our axis. We afford easy and smooth access to our school. And also reduce the cost our parents used on their vehicles. We also thank you for valuable peaceful-existence and massive development in the state, for it has opened door for invest’,she said
“There is adage that seeing is believing. We have seen remarkable improvement in infrastructure and in other aspects in this state.In view of this, we hereby appeal to our parents and good people of Ogun State to please support massively and vote Governor Dapo Abiodun”, the student emphasized
Penpushing further reports that the Governor while speaking expressed appreciation to the accolades by the younger ones, adding the presentation by the pupils was motivational to make him better when re-elected,adding that he was aware of many roads which needs attention, just as he announced commencement of opeji within the next one week
“I want to encourage our people to get their permanent voter cards,to enable you vote for continuity.I am aware of few roads still need attention. Opeji road work to begin next week. Vote for continuity of the good work of my government. By the grace of God, we shall not be an ingrate
