The chairman of the Oyo State chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon Isaac Omodewu on Monday inaugurated executives of the party in the state, along with local government party chairmen across the state.
Penpushing reports that the event, held amidst tight security at the party secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan. has party faithful across the state in attendance, with a call on members to unite and mobilised for 2023 general elections .
The chairman while speaking at the event promised transparent administration where all party members will be carried along, adding that apart from genuine reconciliation and harmonisation, his administration shall also embarked on aggressive membership drive.
Penpushing further reports that the chairman charged the party executives and the local chairmen to work in line with the party’s constitution and also ensured that all party members are carried along without discrimination or nepotism.
“You are also expected to work hard to settle all disputes and differences in the party living no aggrieved party member behind.I seek your understanding, cooperation and support in order to pilot the affairs of Oyo APC to electoral victories in 2023, I urge you to extend hands of fellowship to members who are aggrieved because we cannot do the tasks alone”, Omodewu said
