A 20 year old Malagasy woman has dumped her new born baby in the dusbin in the toilet of an Air Mauritius plane, and was intially arrested after she had earlier denied of the knowledge of the shocking incident.
Penpushing reports that, was made to undergo a medical examination which confirmed that she had just given birth, and was later rushed to the hospital alongside the innocent new baby, while as at the time of this report both mother and child were reported responding to treatment.
The woman, said to have arrived Mauritius on a two-year work permit, had since been placed under police surveillance, while she will be questioned after her release from the hospital and charged with abandoning a newborn.
Penpushing further reports that, the Air Mauritius plane, which arrived from the city of Madagascar on January 1 landed at Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport outside the capital Port Louis.
This development is said not to be the first,as it is recalled that,a similar incident happened in October 2020 when a newborn baby was found in a plastic bag in a rubbish bin at Hamad International Airport’s departures lounge.
