A 23-year-old National Diploma (ND) 1 student of Public Administration of Auchi Polytechnic,Edo State, identified as Solomon has committed suicide, leaving a note behind that his mobile phone be handed over to, Sandra said to be his girlfriend.
Penpushing reports that, in suicide note, the deceased whose body was found dangling from the ceiling of his room on Friday night, was reported to have begged for forgiveness from the said girl, also said to be his course mate
The source from the institution disclosed that, the victim was as at Friday in the class before he later went home, and surprisingly his body was found dangling from the ceiling of his room thereafter.
“Solomon was in class on Friday and left for home after class. We only came home later in the evening to find him dangling from the ceiling of his room. He was a very quiet boy who took his academics very serious. He doesn’t go out and never showed any sign of depression whatsoever,’’ the source added.
Penpushing further reports that, the Public Relations Officer of the Polytechnic, Mustapha Oshiobugie, as at the time of filing this report confirmed the sad incident, but stated that he was yet to get detailed report.
