The Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in Ogun State has commiserated with Governor Dapo Abiodun over the death of his father, Pa Emmanuel Abiodun

Penpushing reports that the association in a condolence letter signed by the Chairman, Otunba Babatunde Osokoya, pointed out that, the deceased left indelible marks on the sands of time having touched and imparted knowledge on many people

‘I write with a heavy heart on behalf of the Patrons, Board of Trustees, Executive Council and the entire members of our Association to commiserate with Your Excellency on the transition to glory of our father, Pa Dr. Emmanuel Adesanya Abiodun on Monday, 2nd August, 2021 at a ripe age of 89 years’, Osokoya wrote.

Penpushing further reports that, the letter said the association appreciated God for granting the deceased grace to witness the ascension of his son (Dapo) as the Governor of the state

‘There is no doubt that our father had left indelible marks on the sands of time as he touched numerous lives and impacted knowledge, character and put smiles on the faces of multitude of beings, of which Your Excellency is a shining example’.

‘On the other hand, we equally wish to appreciate God Almighty for granting Papa the grace to witness the ascension of Your Excellency to the highest position in the State and also for granting Your Excellency the grace to survive Papa’.

Penpushing also reports that the retirees equally consoled with the widow for the loss of her soul mate, and prayed that God will grant her the divine strength to cope with the loss.

‘We also want to use this medium to console Mama for the loss of her darling husband and soul mate of several decades and we pray that God will grant her the divine strength to cope with the great loss. We beseech God to grant Mama many more years in good health and divine abundance’, the letter reads.

‘May the good Lord grant Papa’s soul eternal rest.We pray that the merciful God will further grant Your Excellency and the entire Abiodun family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss’, the association stated.
