Ademola Adeniran at the on-going budget performance assessment held at the Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta.

The chairman added that, the commission is ready to conduct a hitch-free election into the vacant seats of Chairmen and Councilors, and assured that the results of the  poll would be released few hours after completion

The electoral boss said the commission  had been engaging necessary stakeholders including political party agents, security formations and traditional rulers amongst others, through multi-lingual orientation programmes.

Penpushing also reports that,  Chairman of the Committee, as well as well as other members Solomon Osho, Tinuke Bello and Musefiu Lamidi challenged the commission to put in place measures towards ensuring the conduct of a very transparent and credible election

The State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Funmi Efuwape, in another development  described vocational skill acquisition programmes as  veritable means of economic empowerment being adopted by the State in building a sustainable livelihood for women to be self- dependent.

Penpushing reports that, Efuwape, represented by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Mrs. Melutia Ogunremi, disclosed this while presenting the budget performance of the Ministry before the members of the House of Assembly Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development led by Hon.
