The most populous black country in Africa, Nigeria entered year 2021 ahead of the United States of America (USA), a country considered as the most powerful nation in the world.

Penpushing reports that, as at 12.00am on Friday when Nigeria and Nigerians were celebrating the New Year, the citizens and residents of United States of America (USA) were still counting hours to also enter year 2021.

The investigation showed that, in  United States of America(USA) , many of the States which include Texas, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan , Tennessee, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota among others, as at 12am in Nigeria, have their time to be 5.30pm, a period of about seven hours difference.

Penpushing further reports that, many celebrators of the New Year, while speaking on the observation of Penpushing media, said the development was the power of God, who knows how He does His things, without being questioned

‘This is to further confirm the power of God, the world is celebrating the new year from different time zone, as you have just observed between Nigeria and America, it is affirmation of God ways of doing things in a marvelous way’, a celebrant of the year said.

Penpushing also reports that. Nigerian President Muhammed Buhari will address the country early Friday, while there are also feelers that the President would speak on the second wave of coronavirus sweeping through the country after weeks of low cases.

The statement from the President spokesman, Garba Shehu said the broadcast will be relayed on all electronic media, but was silence on what the president would speak about, but  it is expected that he will speak on the spate of insecurity in the country, especially in the north-western and north-eastern state of the country.

‘Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to join the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively, for the broadcast,” he said.
