A member of Penpushng platform, Yemi Dedeke-Olanrewaju has lost her mother, Princess Winifred Adebunmi Dedeke, (Nee Ojebuovboh) who died at age 91 on September, 23, 2026 in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital.
Penpushing reports that the bereaved daughter, a retired Permanent Secretary from the Ogun State Civil Service said her late mother was the wife of late Pa Dayo Dedeke, composer of the popular of ‘ Iwe Kiko’ and Ogun State anthem, ‘Ise ya’
The profile of the deceased has it that she attended Methodist Girls High School, Yaba, Lagos, worked as a clerk with Oxford University Press Ibadan in the 60s, and later went into business, survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Penpushing further reports that the burial programme include a wake keep scheduled to hold on November 26, 2026, at Christ Anglican Church Iporo-Ake, with funeral service to take place on November 27, 2026 at Christ Anglican Church Iporo-Ake, and followed with interment Abeokuta
