The former Governor OF Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba was on Saturday joined by incumbent Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun in leading dignitaries to the 8th Fidau for Alhaja Amdallat Mustapha
Penpushing reports that the Alhaja who died at age 97 on September 12, 2026 was the mother of Osi of Egbaland and Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Olabode Mustapha
The 8-day Fridau was held at Providus Event Cente, along Moshood Abiola WaY Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital and attracted family members, friends and well-wishers within and outside the state.
Penpushing further reports that at the colourful and well packaged ceremony Islamic clerics were not left, as they conducted the service and prayers, which was followed with reception at the centre.
The Ogun State Governor in his speech praised the deceased who he described as a mother in million, having trained her children which pave way for them to be successful offsprings and pride of the woman
Penpushing also reports that Abiodun prayed for the soul of the late mother to continue to rest in perfect peace, and congratulated the children to have survived her even at old age, adding that it was uncommon feat for people at her age, to still have all her children to have survived her.
The other notable dignitaries at the event include Senator Solomon Adeola, Governorship Candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State, Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, Prince Segun Adesegun former Deputy Governor, Ogun State and Chief Yemi Sanusi Chairman All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State.

The bereaved son, Olabode Mustapha appreciated the guests for the honour bestowed on the family, and equally thanked God for the grace her mother had to clocked ripe age before her demise
